Which photographs work best ?
 Any photo will work. Retouching of photos is extra. Simple retcouching is free ( red eye and croping ).
You should try to choose photos of good quality. You can choose photos up to the size of 8 x 10.

How long of a show is a good size ?
It all depends on the event the show is about . The average length of a show is about 20 photos with one or two
songs, which is about 2 to 3 minutes long. A 10  to 15 minute show will make a good average. Photography2dvd
 will personally work with you to achieve the best possible results. Larger size shows are possible, up to 1200 photographs.

How long are photos displayed ?
It all depends on the importance of the photo to you. You can display any photo for any length of time but
on the average, we have found 2 to 3 seconds is a good average with a few others displayed longer, 
5 to10 seconds. We use an average time of  3 seconds for transitions between photos.

What are Transitions ?
Transitions are the part between photos, from the time the photo starts to fade away and the next photo starts
to come to life on the screen. Three seconds is the optimun time for transitions. All transitions work very smoothly
and help bring the whole show together.

Can I add special effects to my photos ?
Yes, we can add the same type of effects, such as panning, tilts and zooms, as seen on PBS, History, Discovery
and Biography Channels. This service is free becuase your paying for a true artist.

Can I have titles and captions in the show ?
Yes, this services is also included. It usually involves 1 to 3 introduction title screens and 1 to 3 ending credits screens.
If you want captions right on a few of the photos for desciptions, this service is free too.

What if my photos are not scanned on a CD ?
We will scan them at an small additional charge.

How do I prepare the order of photos to be shown ?
Just mark on the back of each photo, preferably in the lowest right corner so you do not damage the photo.

What if my photos are already on a CD with no originals ?
We would prefer that you make another CD with the photos in the order you wish them to be shown. All you
have to do is copy the CD to your computer and then make another CD, putting each photo on, in the
order you wish to show them. If you need help doing this , we will be more than happy to help you.

What if I want music on my show ?
If you have a favorite song or songs on CD you would like added to the show, that is not a problem.
We can also purchase songs on the internet for you to use if you do not have the song.

Can editing of a soundtrack be done ?
Yes, we can use the excat length of a song or part of a song to fit the time and amount of photos.
 Simple editing is free of charge such as, fade in and fade out. More advanced editing can be done at a small
 additional charge and by special arrangments only.

Will recordable DVDs work on all DVD players ?
There is no guarantee a DVD will work on all players. That's becuase there are two types of DVDs on the market,
 DVD-R and DVD+R. Recordable DVD is still a new technology thats constantly being improved.
Photography2dvd will redo your show at no charge if you find your DVD does not play on your player. 

How long do I have to wait for the finished product ?
The average time is one week and 2 to 3 weeks on much larger shows.
